B.Sc. Nursing: An Overview
B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program designed for students aspiring to enter the healthcare sector. Eligibility Criteria
- Age Requirement: Minimum 17 years as of December 31st in the year of admission.
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from CHSE, Odisha, or an equivalent board/council.
- Candidates from the National Institute of Open School must have secured at least 45% in PCB subjects.
- SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 40% in PCB subjects.
- English is a mandatory subject at the 10+2 level.
- Must have passed a minimum M.E standard Odia (for government institutions and 85% government quota seats in private institutions).
- Candidates must be domiciles or permanent residents of Odisha (for government institutions and government quota seats in private institutions).
- Both male and female candidates are eligible. (10% reservation for male candidates).
- Must be medically fit.
